One of the parts I like the most in this drama is when they discuss if they should tell each other when other people confess to them, because they are both attractive people, before deciding not to because it's a lot of trouble. I like watching shallow dramas because otherwise a lot of idol dramas ( which I prefer because, well, pretty people) focus on a rich man-poor girl or a genius boy and dumb girl, or just other tropes of the sort, which is just unappetizing.Īt least here, although the idol worship of the hero is just weird and totally unbelievable, the heroine is portrayed as desirable as the hero is. So I actually kind of like this drama? Not because the reasons you stated wasn't valid, (Like why even put the heroine in those skirts with those legs?) but because the romance was, as you said, shallow. Could she be any colder & frigid? She certainly did a great job portraying a young woman in her early 20's with No libido & possibly bulimic.
Especially the end of the last episode of Yang trying so hard to make love to his so-called new wife, Zheng was so pathetic. I feel sorry for Yang that he was casted with her. Watching Zheng kiss was painful to watch, pathetic. It was adorable & yummy & believable kissing scene. When Angel Baby & Jing Boran kissed in the elevator.She Did kiss him back.she participated. Angel Baby played the role so much better in the movie. Yuck! Got to wonder why a guy so adorable as Yang, who could have a really beautiful, healthy & affectionate girlfriend in college ends up picking Zheng.
He was sweet & loving & flirty, She was so frigid & like a scared rabbit. The scenes where Zheng was alone with Yang, where also hard to watch. Her acting was below par & it took Yang Yang & the supporting actors to carry any scenes off with her. Did the Director not notice how bad she looked? Not appealing on any level. Am I the only one seeing this? She was so thin in some scenes when she had on a short pair of shorts or short skirt, it was painful watching her. It was painful for me to watch what appeared to be a seriously mal-nourished women act. The female lead, Zheng Shuang, another story. OMG ! Loved Yang Yang ! He was casted perfectly. Great idea for a story.and just fun to watch. I enjoyed the Movie, Love O2O so much more then the series.
